Driving Green Towards a Sustainable Future.

On Friday, June 6th, 2025, 3 Representatives of Saba Electric Company (Mr. Mark Zagers - Managing Director, Mr. Peter Johnson - Distribution Department Head, and Mr. Luis Oduber - Project Director) traveled to Sint Maarten for an event hosted by Motorworld called The EV Experience: Driving Green Towards a Sustainable Future.

Saba Electric Company has been working towards obtaining an electric vehicle for quite some time, and when this event came up making new vehicles accessible to Saba, we knew this was an ideal time to make our plan a reality.

On July 30th, 2025, the vehicle arrived on Saba following detailing and other works that took place in Sint Maarten. After being cleaned, registered, and charged up, today representatives took photos of the vehicle next to our Phases 1 & 2 Solar Park.

This electric vehicle marks a new sustainable milestone for Saba and for our company. We are proud to promote a form of transportation that is environmentally friendly, safe, and affordable.

As we continue to look towards the future, we hope that SEC will inspire other community members and organizations to make a green switch towards a better future.
